Wavy Gravy

I roughly followed the idea of Cat Bordhi's Sage Rhythm Wrap for this scarf. It was a hostess gift for Thanksgiving related festivities. I love how the long color changes in the yarn made pretty lozenges. The alternate name for all you geologists out there would be the "Boudinage Moebius".

Second Moebius Experiment

I had bought this yarn because I loved the color, but had no idea what to do with it. It's 100% wool, and supposedly good for felting... but sport or DK weight. I'm not sure why you go to the bother of felting for anything less than worsted. Anywho, I made another Cat Bordhi Moebius scarf, this time with a little lace. It turned out pretty well, and I'm going to keep it. YES you heard me right... I knit it for myself!

Moebius Experiment

I am not obsessed with Cat Bordhi, but I do certainly enjoy exploring certain mathematical and sock-ical elements of knitting with her assistance. This time I took advantage of the knitpicks 40% off book sale and got her two magical knitting books. For my first experiment, I am playing with the simplest moebius scarf, which I must admit is just fascinating. I only wish I had the unlimited financial resources to buy a large range of 60" circular needles.
