Another super-quick post... I decided I needed a business card holder for the meeting in Shanghai so I whipped this up. I really like it. :)
This is a scarf pattern I was testing for MK Carroll. The original pattern was written for one of my absolute favorite ever yarns, blue sky alpaca cotton... but I have such a stash now it seemed silly to go out and purchase more yarn. So I made it instead with lion barnd color waves. The boucle yarn makes the stitch definition hard to see and the end result looks almost felted. Kind of cool...
These were such a cute and easy little project, I could not resist. I got the pattern from the Hawai'i Ben Franklin craft store page, here. These are made of lion brand microspun, but I might try cotton next for a more durable version.
This was a super-quick project, but not the most elegant thing ever. I hope it fits! (the dog, not me.) I worked it up in Fibonacci stripes; 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8.
