Unbroken

In commemoration of the removal of my broken thumb splinty-thing, I am working intermittently on some scarlet and gray entrelac. The yarn is the most beautiful kettle dyed bamboo courtesy of Crowe in ZA. I have been thinking about this yarn for well over a year, trying and frogging things... but this is pefect!

PhD socks

These socks have been finished, but embargoed for release until I got my act together and mailed them to the recipient. She finished her PhD in geology at OSU, so obviously I had to knit some scarlet and gray socks. I imagine she will wear them while checking the football scores from her new office in Auckland, NZ.

Temptations

I finally got my Lorna's Laces OSU colorway yarn! I've been waiting a very long time because they only sell it at Temptations In Dublin, OH. My brother went with me today and we found lots of good stuff in addition to the 2 skeins I had on hold. Plus, get this! All Lorna's Laces was 40% off!!! Whoopee!
