First Beret
Yep, this is the one that started me off into the world of beret madness. (Thank god, because moebius madness was getting tedious...)

Favorite Needles
They're plastic... but wait, they're so nice! Bryspuns are flexible and pearly, and there's a kitty on the pack! The tips are unique and hard to explain, I suppose you could say they are concave. I only have one set of circulars, nobody sells them in Santa Cruz. I purchased mine at Knitter's Mercantile back home in Columbus.

Blankie for Ems
I shouldn't be playing on the interwebs, I have serious work to do... but I really wanted to post something. This is a blanket I knitted with the viral pattern from Brooklyn Tweed, Hemlock ring blanket. His is made with pure wool, this is not. I'm sure that's why mine looks like crap and his is beautiful. Blocking was impossible, it didn't take, and seeing as it's for a baby type person, I anticipate many future washings anyway. So caveat empator, only make this blanket with wool or it really won't be worth the effort.

New Thinking Hat
And now I've finished my new thinking hat/beret. I desperately hope it works, because I'm having trouble concentrating. The fun and very suitable yarn was generously provided from South Africa by Crowe. Love it!

Stitch Markers
I saw Coraline when it opened last weekend and was so inspired I stopped by Palace office and art supply next door to the theater and grabbed some fimo clay on my way home. As it turns out, I am not very talented with the clay and rendered a few into very crispy critters, in the process raising concerns over phthalate levels in my apartment. But after a few tries I had made some acceptably cute planktonic foram stitch markers. Since I crammed the sharp ends in before curing, there is nothing to snag the knitting!
